Penyanyinya, Tay Zonday seketika langsung terkenal, dan diundang dimana2. Pernah menyanyikan lagu itu di acara Jimmy Kimmel (yg punya Indovision pasti tau), Radio BBC, Lily Allen. Video klip ini jg ditampilkan di videoklip terbarunya Weezer (judulnya Pork and Beans).

Mengenai lagunya sendiri, bercerita tentang isu2 ras di Amerika, dari tingginya tingkat narapidana orang negro (“The prisons make you wonder where it went”), rasisme ekonomi (“Raised your neighborhood insurance rates”), dan betapa tak pedulinya orang2 Amerika terhadap rasisme itu sendiri (“Every February washed away”) – merujuk pada Bulan Sejarah Hitam.

Unsur yg menarik dalam video ini adalah ketika Tay memberitahu penonton bahwa ia sengaja menjauh dari mik untuk menarik napas.LOL (harusnya kan gak perlu)
